I love how it flaps its arms a few times before it gets up. I chuckle a little every time I see that.

Why does it flap it's arms like that? I've been wondering.
Is it checking which side it's laying on when it does that?

The G-Sensor which is what Futaba calls the 3-axis accelerometer lets the RBT-1 know which way it's laying. I think it may be to make sure the arm is setup right, adjust for any friction and correct if it's angled slightly to one side or the other before it gets up. Whatever reason it's cool

Please take a video of the motion it does when it is on it's side and you make it get up. I think it's nifty.
