I made original getting-up motions.
In soccer game, it's very important to get up quickly!

CUE

Great work, your get up motions are very quick - As I have said before I think the RBT-1/GR-001 is going to make a great Robo Soccer Player - you need to make sure someone is filming video when you actually are playing the game. BTW wanted to know, on the RBT-1 where the servos are connected there is something like a clutch or slip disk, that will allow the joints to snap out and you then manually with some force can pop it back in - I often have to tighten up the screws to minimize that because if he takes a rough tumble sometime the arm or leg will pop - is the GR-001 designed the same way, have you modified your GR-001?

cdrapor

I'm sorry to late to post.

As you say, RBT-1 and GR-001 are the same excluding the color.

In soccer game of battle, the "Clutch" becomes obstructive.
So I change my GR-001 in three points;

1.Fix the servo horn and frames

Image

additional screw to fix frame and servo-horn.

Image

and cover the screw not to come off.
by this work, the clutch loose its function.
but remember, its not good for the servos.

2.exchange all RS302CD to RS301CR

to get up faster and faster, and to fight with other heavy robots.

3.Cut hand and foot parts.

this work is only for ROBO-ONE 11th regulation,
So you don't have to do this as long as you do not join it.

these are my modifications.

hi n2stuff

the uploaded file include only running and getting-up motions.
kicking and throwing motions are modified only for my robot with cutted hand and foot.
because of that, you can't use my motions. sorry.

hi n2stuff

the feet size about 40mm x 80mm.
it is very small but my robot has enough stability without gyro.
It is possible to run even if he is on the carpet if data is firmly adjusted.

He can stand on by tiptoe;

I think that gyro is not so important for GR-001.

hi cue
do you think locking out the servo clutches made a difference in stability?
how long does your battery run on a charge? mine runs about 20 minutes.

thanks

n2stuff

there is no difference in stability after locking out clutches.
battery runs about 10~15 minutes when keeping playing soccer.
when keeping slowly motions such as walking, it runs 20~25 minutes.

I upload motion data with kicking and throw-in.

http://robosavvy.com/Builders/C.U.E/RBT-1_soccer.zip

throw-in motion is adjusted for the ball of about 110mm in the diameter.
if you use different size object, please adjust the angle of shoulder servos (ID4 and ID7 ).[/url]

hi cue
thanks for the new moves again. now i can look how you make them and maybe i will try to make some of my own. but i am losing interest in this bot because of it's instability. he falls way to much. hopefully the gyro will be out soon. also the joints popping out is annoying and the battery life sucks. i glad to see yours works great, but for 1400.00 i expected more.

thanks again
