I just got this message about RoboGames 2010. Note different dates !

Greetings contestants!

We're please to make two big announcements:

1) ComBots Cup IV returns this Dec 18-19th in San Mateo. This event is for
combat robots only, but will offer a minimum $2000 prize for the best
heavyweight robot! Of course, you'll also get to carry the wonderful ComBots
Cup for a year:

2) RoboGames 2010! We've moved the times up to April to accomodate all the
college entrants. The event will be either April 2-4 (Easter) or April 23-25,
depending on feedback. Please email us your thoughts on which date is better.
We'll take everyone's opinion, but we can't please everyone...

Registration will open soon for both events!

Different dates and venue, I've gone to the Makefair at the fairgrounds and they have plenty of room for everybody. I hope I can get there to help setup. All of the contestants need to help as much as they can.

Hi guys, just finished the games, zorch and oro came and won just about everything boomer helped get a silver in robosoccer, RN-! got bronze given to him for demo I naturally wiped his programming on friday and spent sat &sun getting it semi ready, a new kid notech won gold in wrestling, atomic kid wazs really good but ran into zorch for the bronze. We really need to help orginize our Events if we want smoothness, dave & dan have all kinds of things to take care of . There were a few cancellations and a lot of people showed up for sectating. while boomer and RN-! were sparring people came and asked the question wher how much time money and sad to say Tohm said HiTec was letting robotics slide. tony will still support we users as much as he can, I'm going to recieve a new controller that I gave him for repair. I got to drive my RC Crawler through one of Mechwars buildings look for it on utube soon. mechwar had some good rounds, but since I was in the pits buikding battery packs for me and mike I missed the finals.we still had a good time though and trossen should have pics soon see you next year john

Hi Guys,

Nice vid and robot. I also going to Korea Robot Festival in May. I am a first time competitor. Is there any experience you can give me that can help me win? What special training i.e. do your robot run 10miles a day :P

Cheers,

BTW mine is a Bioloid Premium.
