Hello, I have some information that may be of interest to any London based robot builders.

I'm a member of a non-profit workshop for geeks in central London. We provide a space where people who make things can come to share tools and knowledge. We've just signed the lease on our new workshop in Shoreditch, spitting distance from Hoxton station (and about 10mins from Old Street).

To celebrate we're having a party/open evening on the 1st of August. If this sounds of interest then do come along and see what the fuss is about!

I've missed this post back in July.
Maybe the right setup for humanoid meetups ?

Hi limor - we do allow organisations with complimentary interests to use the space. We ask that events are arranged with us in advance on days that the space is usually quiet, and that a donation is made to the London Hackspace.

Perhaps it might be useful to visit us on one of our public open evenings (every Tuesday). It would be a good opportunity to see what the space can offer and I'm certain that there would be parties interested in hearing about the UK hobby robotics scene - myself included :-)

Our IRC channel is a good place to discuss this further if you're interested. See the links below for more information.
