How is 3D printed frames>

I heard that Mike made a DARwIn-OP clone himself at half the price of the commercial version. That is very good. Are the 3D printer made frames strong enough? Do they deform when the motors are hot?

Yes I did make a 3d printed version of the DARwIn-OP

They are not as strong as the metal version but they are strong enough.

I use ABS as it has a higher deforming temperature than PLA. I have not notice a problem with my brackets deforming yet with ABS.
