hi guys;

thi is my work, it's not finished because I wanted to directly integrate a mini digital fet servo 3KG, now I'll be putting a servo 9KG

i post the new picture when i finished

Can you please make some pics with better focus though (no offence, but i can hardlly make out the details in the detail shots)

What will you be mounting this on? are those ti-rips or muscles? do you control all fingers at the same time or seperate?

Edit; are they these 'mellisa' hands?

one thing im curious about tho, i cant really tell from the mellisa hands or yours, how does it actually work? do the tirips/t-raps get pulled across a gear or something? i dont follow how it converts a little rotational motion to a pulling motion long enough to make the hand turn into a fist.

Yes i see your video its same project, but in the original melissa hand's its must difficult for have a fine tuning of t rap for a tRap align optimal fingers between them,

that's why I thought back to another module by setting trap trap (see photo)

I like your hand but I think many are wondering if it isn't a simple way to do it or some easy to find materials and tools to made one look like "Melissa Hand" , even if not so hard ... but hey I consider my robots very delicate even some of them are made to be very strong , like my ROBONOVA (for whom I try to make a hand like that/this).

Hope not to take as a competition, even if competition make it best I start a forum thread ABOUT MY PROJECT.

I am gathering parts to construct my own set of hands as well...
Just wondering the gauge of aluminum you used?
Also the screws, were they 'tapped' to the holes or did you have nuts at other side?

I have another idea i might explore with my project... it wont start til january but I am getting parts together...

How does the gripping work?
I mean, I can see the straps moving thanks to the servo, but it's kind of counter intuitive - when the strips are stretched, the hand opens, and when the strips are released the hand closes, doesn't that give a very small gripping power ? ( I mean it probably can't grip anything heavy).

Or am I wrong here? Can someone point me to a good website/movie that describes exactly how it works?

Avec mon groupe on hésite au numéro de doigts qu'il faudra mettre. Est-ce que avec votre expérience, vous pouvez me donner les renseignements nécessaires?
