Its quite good, I am saving my $ to be have one.
but, one of the weak point is that it cannot do as the programme storage device, (if doing so, the robot can do thousands of action  )

Just quickly scan through the menu, the set up doesn’t looks too difficult. But not quite sure although you can put a 2Gb card on it but it still only allow to have 255 files in it? can someone correct me if I am wrong.

I think the price will upset a lot of people, since the price is almost the same as the main controller board!

Well, I’ll have to wait and hope until the £GBP goes better, now the JPY are too strong to buy. or the £Pound may never get better  …. lol… :)

agree :( too expensive :?

but in fact, not 255 but only 254 music or sound files, the no. 255 is used to stop the music. the max. capacity is 2GB.

You can use also this board from sparkfun:

sold here at RoboSavvy
very cheap and based on this IC:
http://www.vlsi.fi/en/products/vs1002.html

I haven't looked at how to interface it with an SD card but there are several cheap SD interface boards here:
