Just notice his arms can turn, did you add 1 more dof on each arm?

yes mic,

I use one extra servo for each arm, the only disappointed thing is that the RB2000 grippers have still not yet been released

yes Ray,

That’s why I am planning to make one myself with some carbon fibre sheet, may also use some cheap micro servo for gripper dof, because it is small so it can be embedded inside its hand. :D

humm ... mic,

I think you need something 5V regulator for your small servos ....
since they are of different voltage with your current servos.

wish soon can see your gripper and movie :D

Yeah, have to build a little voltage divider to drop down the voltage somewhere near 4V~4.8V, I think may also need to modify the micro servo case as well, in order to mount a U shape bracket on it. This is just an initial thought, when come down to some drawings may have more ideas  :D

Sorry to no release grip axis kit.

VS-S020 is micro servo motor.
http://www.vstone.co.jp/robotshop/index ... ts_id=1228

It can use VS-RC003/HV.
>It's using for Robovie-nano

About VS-S020
・weight:12.5g
・size:22.5x11.5x24.6mm
・Voltage:4.8 - 6.0V
・Power:2.2kgfcm(when 4.8V)
・Speed:0.11sec/60°(when 4.8V)

But I don't know how to buy this.

Hi combate,

Nice to meet you,

Any news to the gripper, it seem Vstone has release it to some people including a beautful lady ... :)

are you a japanese?
Hear about the Robovie-RC ?

To Ray.

Yes, I'm Japanese. So my english is no good(I speak 'engrish').

Robovie-PC is made based on VisiON4G.
It is for researchers robot, but it's low price(399,000yen).
>VisiON4G is about 1,000,000yen.

Knee axis servo motor is VS-S281J(high torque servo motor).
And other servo motor is VS-S092J.
Legs is parallel link structure.
Pre builded type(no kit).
It have small USB-CCD camera on head.
It protected by soft cover(Urethane sponge).

Main CPU is AXIOMTEK PICO820(Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz).
And sub CPU is VS-RC003HV.
VS-RC003HV is controaled by serial(RS232C) command from main CPU.

PICO820 is micro size PC.
CPU is Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz.
It can install Windows2000/XP/Vista/7, and Linux.
It can connect USB2.0x2, RGBx1, LAN(10/100/1000MBase-TX)x1.

Hi combate,

you English is Ok and easy to understand :D

It seem the parallel link is good for stability and no oscillation.

for the Robovie-PC, It provides little support.
Although it has a PC board, but what software can we communicate with Robovie-PC wirelessly ?

How to get the video capture back to our PC wirelessly ?

It seem Vstone has no application for this :x
For the SDK, does it provides wireless communication method ?

Thanks for discussion.

To Ray.

PICO820(Robovie-PC main CPU) is almost same as PC/AT.
So you can use VC6.0,VS2005,VS2008,and more(Of course, Linux also).

Video capture from USB-CCD camera is can use by DirectShow(PlatformSDK).
Move servo motor and get Gyro-sensor parameter is using RS232C command(It communicates with VS-RC003HV with the serial port. ).
RS232C command table is attached to the product.

The user combines them and the programming is done though a basic sample is attached.
>Camera control, RS232C communicate, etc..

The programming of an autonomous robot can be done by these.

Also Robovie-PC can control Only VS-RC003HV.
So you can control Robovie-PC using by Gamepad (To the way of KTX)

And it can control by Wireless LAN(Connect Wireless LAN adaptor on USB port).

Hi combate,

Thank you for you information, it is invaluable :D

Move servo motor and get Gyro-sensor parameter is using RS232C command(It communicates with VS-RC003HV with the serial port. ).
RS232C command table is attached to the product.

As I know, VS-RC003HV do not has a RS232 Port, does it use a virtual Com Port ?,

I cannot find serial command in the VS-RC003HV manual where can I get it?
and how about the virtual com. port driver ?

The user combines them and the programming is done though a basic sample is attached.

Can Vstone post this sample for us to understand the Robovie-PC more??

And it can control by Wireless LAN(Connect Wireless LAN adaptor on USB port).

will Vstone provide a platform of such Wireless LAN (with video) control computer software ....

I really hope Robovie-PC can has more support similar to RB2000 and Robovie-X

To Ray.

-Communicate to VS-RC003HV by RS232C
I heard that VS-RC003 has serial-tx/rx on CN-6 or CN-7.
But i don't know how to connect and how command usable.

Please show this manual.
http://www.vstone.co.jp/top/products/ro ... manual.pdf

This manual explains about any connector-pin(show Page 2-4).

-Operation of Robovie-PC

It might be the same as PC.
So, I think that if you can do the programming of Windows(DirectShow,TCP/IP,Serial,USB), you can control Robovie-PC
(Leaving aside the control by the cereal command.)

But Perhaps, does the number one problem support this excluding Japan.
