Of course limor you make a good point. I was looking past the specifics into the development of a new future product for small humanods.<br /><br />The humanoid itself may not be flying up and down in perpetual  motion, but a vision system for example, or other system, which uses a rotating mirror or optical lens combination at delta speeds or which employs other methods of perpetual motion which require regulation, VR or otherwise, inclusive of software, hardware and virtual means may indeed benefit for low cost vision extraction methodology.<br /><br />The technique is a useful one and it could speed up real time vision, though looking past the specifics may help. I also believe filtering thoughts and ideas for AI constructs could be handled in such manners when massive amounts of neural nets present staggering volumes for processing in several dimensions.<br /><br />I'm working on designing a few simple (VR) lenses in such a system and implementing various means of access, and again, I'm looking towards new designs.<br /><br />We don't have AI on robonova at this time, but I'm not the only person working on it, and plan to add it at sometime, and this technique could be very useful. That's a great idea. Such biological filters could be incorporated into humanoid robotics. Although this site referenced flight methods, the technique could perhaps be applied to other forms of motion control.
