They got a bite, nonetheless. I saw a little boy lugging around a translucent plastic bag that clearly contained a substantial box labeled "Plen"! Amazing.
Statistics: Posted by roycepipkins — Tue Jun 19, 2007 4:30 am

I got to try Plen at the RoboGames! It was very cool. They let me control it with a Wiimote. To make Plen prepare to skate forward, you tilt the Wiimote up. Then you tilt it left and right. When you tilt it left, the left foot goes forward, and so on. When you hold the control level, it returns to the standing position. To make it go backwards, you tilt the control down, instead of up. Also, to make Plen turn, you press the left or right d-pad button. To make Plen stop turning, you press the home button. It was fun, and I was good at it. They also said that Plen should be on the US market soon. When I was done trying Plen, the man at the booth smiled at me and said, "It's good!" Oh, and they said Plen will be for sale in the USA soon! Right now it is in the test market. How exciting!

RedFoxDude
Statistics: Posted by RedFoxDude — Sat Jun 16, 2007 6:13 am
