Thanks for the great comments.<br />When you get your Penguin robot, you can<br />download all the code from the Parallax<br />forum in the robotics section where I posted it.<br />I can also post here upon request.<br /><br />I've written several dancing programs,<br />calibration code, programs to enable a TV<br />remote for infrared wireless, and wireless<br />soccer, all for the Penguin robot.<br /><br />I have a new movie and new program here:<br />soccer-playing penguin robot<br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Duxpxu4Bhs">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Duxpxu4Bhs</a><!-- m --><br /><br />the penguin robot<br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=27313">http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=27313</a><!-- m --><br /><br />the place with the posted penguin code<br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=10">http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=10</a><!-- m --><br /><br />humanoido<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=416">Humanoido</a> — Tue Sep 18, 2007 7:43 am</p><hr />

It's one thing getting a robot to walk.<br />Dancing is a whole new challenge.<br />But dancing on rollerskates is the<br />ultimate!<br /><br />Tiny Penguin robot, from Parallax, can<br />really roller skate dance with these<br />little homemade roller skates and<br />a special software program.<br /><br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_H3teQdxxw">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_H3teQdxxw</a><!-- m --><br /><br />The video shows how the skates were<br />assembled from common household parts.<br /><br />Wheels were made from round furniture skid<br />protectors, and the skate boots are from<br />leftover plastic Maxim part cases.<br /><br />Desktop rollerskate dancing is accomplished<br />with only two servos. Some of the motions<br />are patterned after a human skate dance<br />team in Asia.<br /><br />humanoido<br /><br /><div class='bbmedia' data-url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_H3teQdxxw' style='margin: 1px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: bottom;'><div style='width: 200px; height: 40px; border: 1px solid #999; display: table-cell; text-align: center; vertical-align: middle; font: 10px/10px Verdana; color: #555; opacity: 0.5;'><a style='color: #105289; text-decoration: none;' href='http://phpbbex.com/' target='_blank'>phpBB</a> &#91;media&#93;</div><script>if (typeof bbmedia == 'undefined') { bbmedia = true; var e = document.createElement('script'); e.async = true; e.src = 'js/bbmedia.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(e, s); }</script></div><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=416">Humanoido</a> — Wed Sep 12, 2007 4:55 pm</p><hr />
