Robonova or KHR 1

This is always a tough call. I went for the RoboNova because I know of Hitech and, although I have done a fair bit of robotics, was new to bipeds. I hoped the RoboNova would offer me an operational platform in a relatively short space of time.

Well it certainly did that - had it working within 24 hours and within 5 days had programmed it to walk up steps.

I haven't tried the KHR-1 so it may be the same case but I know it's the case with RoboNova.

I had to make a similar decision. I picked the Robonova after discussing with some of the other builders here and on other bulletin boards. Whatever they said made sense - ultimately I picked the one that "looked" better

That may sound superficial but I wanted a robot that could impress people when they saw it. The KHR-1 still looks like a lab experiment.

which is better? may seem a bit of a stupid question but im not sure which is the best one to go for any help?
