We have expanded the FREE Robot Test Drive.
You now have your choice of driving either a Robonova-1 or an I-Sobot.

With the Robonova-1 you can try all of the pre-programmed motions, and we have plenty of space for you to try the cartwheel and tumbling motions. For the I-Sobot you can try out 134 different motions, including all of the punches, kicks, jokes and gags. You have to see and hear the I-Sobot to believe it!

Thanks to jaybirdtke and trey3670 for being among the first to test our new service.

To improve on our product, we have decided to increase the time limit from 5 minutes to 20 minutes for each Robot Test Drive. We have also added time slots on Saturday, January 26th in the middle of the day. Hopefully this will allow more folks to try out this new service, including our friends in timezones across Europe and Asia.

We've made all of the pre-programmed motions for a Robonova-1 available as buttons on a secure webpage. You push a button, and our robot performs that command, with live video feedback. The webpage link in our original post above has a screenshot of the controls and an example of what the video will look like. Check it out.

This is a real robot performing real actions in real time, at your command.

It's no different than if your friend bought a robot and let you drive it for a while. We are willing to let you drive our robot in much the same way, except our robot could be hundreds of miles away from you.

So a user uploads code for movements and you introduce it to the 'bot of choice and the user gets to watch and see what happens?

Or does the user log in and chose from a pre-loaded set of code/commands to see what the 'bot will do?

Or are the 'bots virtual based upon the performance of previously tested units?

It sounds fun and innovative.
