instead of reading about the theory of C programming of microcontrolers,<br />why dont you buy one of our microcamp robots: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/346">http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/346</a><!-- m --><br />and learn how to program in C while through operating a robot step by step.<br /><br /> <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=2">limor</a> — Thu Feb 28, 2008 11:34 pm</p><hr />

I think &quot;C Programming for Microcontrollers&quot; is a fast and practical introduction to c and programming micros.<br /><br />But if you a want a more structured and deeper introduction to the c programming language, this is pretty good and free <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><br /><br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://cprog.tomsweb.net/cintro.pdf">http://cprog.tomsweb.net/cintro.pdf</a><!-- m --><br /><br />But there are a lot...<br /><br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.physics.drexel.edu/courses/Comp_Phys/General/C_basics/">http://www.physics.drexel.edu/courses/C ... /C_basics/</a><!-- m --><br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.howstuffworks.com/c.htm">http://www.howstuffworks.com/c.htm</a><!-- m --><br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial.html">http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial.html</a><!-- m --><br /><br /><a href="http://www.google.es/search?q=c+programming+language+tutorial&amp;sourceid=navclient-ff&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;rls=GGGL,GGGL:2006-31,GGGL:es" class="postlink">and more</a><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=698">siempre.aprendiendo</a> — Wed Feb 27, 2008 12:27 am</p><hr />

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Microcontrollers-Featuring-Butterfly-Compiler/dp/0976682206" class="postlink">C Programming for Microcontrollers</a><br /><br />This book has been mentioned a few times on here. I would really like to add microcontrollers to my skills arsenal. I have experience with programming at what I assume is a novice level (1st and 2nd generation of basic based languages and some scripting like PHP...). So, I really don’t know anything about C programming, but I’m not intimidated by the thought of diving in. I also have experience with basic electronics (both, analog and digital with your typical radio shack flavor of discrete components and ICs). Would such a book be a good place to start for a serious hobbyist, such as myself? Or, should I find some other form of &quot;beginners C training&quot; as a prelude to the book mentioned above? If the case is the latter, what do you guys recommend? I'm open to any good starting points.<br /><br />Thanks in advance.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=869">AlphA</a> — Tue Feb 26, 2008 11:29 pm</p><hr />
