I received similar remarks from Don who also attended the SF event..<br /><br /><blockquote class="uncited"><div><br />The Robo One events were a bit disappointing. Not well attended, poorly organized, and pretty much the participants same as last year. Sato's brother is now manufacturing his design in Japan and marketing it as "Pirkus." I'm attaching a few photos; more to follow as I sort, crop, and clean-up.<br /></div></blockquote><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/don-bipedwalk1.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><a href="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/don-humanoidrow.jpg" class="postlink"><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/don-humanoidrow-small.JPG" alt="Image" /></a><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/don-kombat.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/don-kondo1.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/don-kondo2.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><a href="http://isobe.typepad.com/photos/roboone_2005/index.html" class="postlink">other</a>pictures of the event posted recently.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=2">limor</a> — Mon Apr 04, 2005 8:12 pm</p><hr />

I went to the Robo-Games in SF. I missed Friday. The schedule listed the stair climb on Friday but I dont think that happened. Most of the Robo-One's could barely walk. I arived on Saturday and I was disssapointed to see only a few Robo-One's. They had a demostration which wasn't anything exciting <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="" title="Rolling Eyes" /> There was one dude from Canada whom build his own Robo-One that was pretty cool. I had planed on staying until the end of the event on Sunday but with only three or four semi-working Robo-One's the wrestleing wasn't worth it. I felt sorry for some of these people who spent alot of $ on there travels and there was a pretty weak turn out. I did take some video but it's not really worth uplodeing.<br /><br />It was cool to check out the battleBot competition. Also the sumo robot were pretty cool as well. Much more fun to see in person than on TV<p>Statistics: Posted by Guest — Tue Mar 29, 2005 7:33 am</p><hr />
