Hi neonthingy and welcome!

With regards to Mac support, here is the status (as far as I know):
- A forum member has written a Mac program to install custom firmware on the robobuilder.

- There is also an alternative improved firmware that includes a terminal-like command window that you can use to control the robot using any standard terminal tool.
That alternative firmware also includes BASIC programming capabilities so you can program the robot.

With regards to the standard firmware / standard tools, Robobuilder comes with:
- MotionBuilder to create new motions
- ActionBuilder to program behaviours/reactions

As far as I know these two only run in windows.

If you're a technical guy, you can yourself do some coding for Mac which adds to the fun of having the robot .
A lot of the Robot technical details and protocol is documented and there is also some additional reverse engineering done already (Motion files syntax, boot loader,..)
Statistics: Posted by PedroR — Tue May 05, 2009 1:39 pm
