Ok, so here's my new list from this site shop:<br /><br />1 x  KHR-2HV Kit <br />2 x  Giro sensor: KRG-3 <br />1 x  RAS-1 Acceleration Sensor <br />1 x  Battery for KHR-1 (HV) - "Power Cell HV C Type" NiMh 10.8V 300mA<br />TOT 947,04 eur<br /><br />Now I think I need something to remote control it. That's a good picture of the current situation. Thankyou!<br /><br />Ok, I'm oriented on KHR-2<br />Which obtions can I buy togheter with the Robo?<br /><br />1) The Gyro? Does it exist for the KHR-2?<br /><br />2) I've still not understood how I'll "drive" it. For example, it will execute a series of movement I'll have defined on my laptop.<br />Let's suppose I will attach a videocamera on his head, there is a way to control him remotely (and make him execute some "mission" in other rooms)? PocketPc via bluetooth? Ciao Andrea,<br /><br />Benvenuto sul forum dei robo humanoidi  <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /> <br /><br />KHR-1 - has been around since 2004. over 4000 units sold, mostly in Japan. has many proven-to-work add-ons. Has English documentation and lots of information and registered users on this forum. Price is slightly higher than KHR-2 because Kondo are trying to get people to buy the new model.<br /><br />KHR-2 - has only been lauched recently. Has several improvements including new controller CPU and more powerful servos, and a graphic programming interface which includes conditional branching based on sensor values and other states. Documentation is currently still in Japanese.<br /><br />RN1 - launched at the beginning of the year, it is similar in many ways to KHR-1 but with some improvements. It is programmable with a very easy to grasp Basic-like language and supports several type of sensors (see the <a href="http://www.robosavvy.com/phpnuke/modules.php?name=Wiki&amp;n=RoboDocs.HitecRobonova-I" class="postlink">FAQ</a>) and hides a lot of the complexity of dealing with low level timers and interrupts. The most popularized humanoid online mainly because Hitec have European and US offices that  promote and support the robot among the hundreds of Hitec dealers and in turn thanks to many English speaking owners who share their hacks and experiences with the robot.<br /><br />Bioloid - Robotis has been around for ages serving the humanoid research community.  Robotis servos are the weapons of choice at Robocup humanoid league. This is their first kit at a reasonable price. It is the most advanced kit in several ways. You can make a dog, hexapod, humanoid and even a plotter from this kit. Programmable with gnu C++. It also has some simplified GUI. Comes with sensors, powerful servos sitting on a 1mbps bus (no backwards-compatible analog PWM servo control). Hi to all of you,<br /><br />I'm a new Italian user and I'm considering to buy my first Robot   <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> <br /><br />So: here my questions for you:<br />which one?<br /><br />KHR-1 or KHR-2?<br />The price is higher for the first version, why?
