A year ago, we've had a purchase to the Ivory Coast for a relatively low value item.
Turned out the purchase was fraudulent so the money was refunded and after calling Ivory Coast customs, we asked for the item to be returned.
This was a year ago and never heard from the package again.
Today - 1 year later - the package arrived at our warehouse.
However, to one more of our surprises it was totally damaged.... water damage!
We've had the most wild episodes with mail. Italy has always given us great stories (such as lost mail showing up at the customer's office after 3 months - and after the courier confirming it had been lost) but 1 year sets a new record for us!
This reminds of Seinfeld: I wonder what Newman would have to say about this.
