Innovation: Robo working from A to B

Do scripted Roboters exist that move to Waypoints through your room 24/7? Are there robots that you do not need to refill every hour in order for doing that? Its really innovative and there is none combining these both components. Imagine you sit on your computer and you have a small robot walking from your room to the (removed by spam filter), the living room and back to your room...then again to the (removed by spam filter).
When will this be possible or is it already?
