I think he may be referring to the HPI G-ROBOTS GR-001. It was "kind-of" announced at the big hobby show in Chicago a couple of months ago, though actual ship dates outside of Japan haven't been disclosed yet. The robot kit, which was designed and manufactured by Futaba then OEM'd to HPI, will hit store shelves here in Japan at the end of January. The support channels here have already been trained on the product, and have shared very positive impressions with me.

For the Kyosho MANOI PF-01, they are currently saying the product will go on sale within the next two months, but no firm date yet.

On Kyosho lifting the 'educational/research' sales requirement on the AT01 - it's anyone's guess.
