Hello Pedro,

today i found the RoboSavvy Forum and your SAM-3 Servo teardown Post, 5 years to late. But I still answer your question regarding the RGS5:

R stands for Reset and should be connected to Pin1, named NRST
G stands for Ground and should be connected to Pin4, named Vss
S stands for SWIM communication and should be connected to Pin 26, named PD1
5 stands for 5Volt and should be connected to Vdd

The MPU is programmed with this 4 lines via a programming adapter like R-Link i.e.
You should test this statements with a multimeter, as this is only assumption. But I´m not surprised if you can confirm.

Happy to have discovered this piece of internet,

Uwe
Statistics: Posted by Uwe — Fri Mar 02, 2018 3:54 pm

Hi,
It will work with servos, as the head on my robot uses the little servos that RQ-HUNO uses. In terms of schematics, connect the serial I/O on the Raspberry to the RX/TX lines on the servos. There's plenty of web pages to explain how.

I think the Huno may be too small though to carry the weight of the RPi - May be look at using the Pi-zero? I now have a Raspberry Pi 3 and I'm printing a custom 3D case to sit on back of the 5710. This should be a powerful combination.

cheers
Statistics: Posted by l3v3rz — Sun Mar 06, 2016 12:11 pm

Hi,

I have a RQ-HUNO and do you think I could connect a raspberry pi to it as well?

Would you have the schematics to do so? I didnt do anything to it anymore since I thought it is not that powerful with its own board, very limited and with only korean documentation available.
Statistics: Posted by pbsk8 — Sat Feb 27, 2016 5:10 pm

Hello. Thanks for your answer. I did not find the file I was looking for but, with your CD, I learned to use Robobuilder . Maybe the file Huno_Demo.prj was unnecessary.... Anyway I have started to do my motions and actions!
Now I have a new problem: I would like to use MRDS but I can't find the services files. Searching on Google I found that the necessary file is called "MSRDS2008_RoboBuilder_service-install.exe", but the provided link are down.
Can anyone help me another time?
Thanks a lot
Subarone
Statistics: Posted by subarone — Sun Nov 08, 2015 9:29 am

Hello everybody, I apologize for my bad english. I'm a secondary school teacher and I have bought a Robobuilder. The cd that was in the box is unreadable. I've tried to download the software from Robobuilder site and I was succesful (three version) but in no one I could find the "Huno_demo.prj" file wich is used in the beginning tutorial. Can someone send me that file? I can't go on without it because I don't have to basic config to follow the tutorial.
Is there any other file wich could help my learning process?
Thanks a lot
Subarone
Statistics: Posted by subarone — Sat Oct 10, 2015 10:03 am
