My RoboBuilder Huno is now repaired and fully operational thanks to limor kindly replacing my damaged parts for free Thanks Limor

So we cannot download from the Korean website........So... is there somebody to propose a solution ?

Pedro tells me that you have to be a Korean citizen to download then....he is trying to get them to make them available on the english site.

Ah I love when people got the same questions as me

So we cannot download from the Korean website because it requires to login... our login for English website doesn't worth.
==> So I tried to register and it didn't work
It looks the first 2 boxes to fill are the version "5710k" and serial nr 13digits.

It is needed in order to download Korean motions... but also the pages "download" and "tips", because we can look at them even in korean, they always release the korean news before the english ones...

So... is there somebody to propose a solution ?

finished building my robobuilder. very impressed with the build quality and software. would recommend this biped. at the moment playing around with the software. found it was a good idea to download the standard moves to play around with http://robosavvy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2693
gives you an idea of how the sequences are put together to complete the move.

There appear to be about 30 available (uploaded by users) on the Korean language version of the site.

I have downloaded the moves from the website, but there only seem to be three. Am I missing something.

I used the serial number off the side of the RBC

robobuilder has just announced they will be releasing a metal brackets kit for huno.
The kit is intended to make the robot more robust, to participate in competitions, etc.

could you make a potential robo one bot out of the kit?

With a few mods to the joint couplings...ie a small tapped metal plates instead of m2 nuts, and the higher power servos...(discussed with i-bot and Sonic...details to follow).I think the answer is yes.

can you change the remote buttons to do different things?

The moves you download can be activaed on the remote keys 0-9 and *0-*9 (ie 20 moves max). If you are can program in C you can reprogram the arrow keys to perform moves other than stock moves....but I don't know how yet....

Also i want to be able to control it remotely and get some really good walking gaits etc from it too!

If you want open loop control gaits...no problem...If you are talking about closed-loop remote control you need to used C and bluetooth.....

How fast are the servos in responding and moving

The are proper adjustable PID controller servos...see the wCK manual

Cool stuff. A worthy kit to purchase by the look of it!!
I really think i might purchase this kit. You can remote contorl it, which is great!!!! can you change the remote buttons to do different things?
How fast are the servos in responding and moving, could you make a potential robo one bot out of the kit?
I want a robot kit that can be expanded at a later date, by the sounds f it this one can be. Also i want to be able to control it remotely and get some really good walking gaits etc from it too!

Robobuilder Huno is 285(H) x 170(W) x 105(D) and mass= 1.25Kg

Step forward, back, left, right
Turn right, left (slide without hip mod)
Punch out left,right
Stand up backwards, forwards (also forward and backwards roll)

Plus three stock moves ( you must download to the controller your self)sit, high kick, wave

Lots of moves can be downloaded from the Korean Robobuilder web site...but for some reason I have been unable to do this???

Wow, love the look of this kit. I really want to get one of these!! I'm really sorry to ask but how tall is the robobuilder??? i dont know ho big robonova is for comparison.

Also it runs straight off the remote? what is pre programmed into it?
I have had experience with the bioloid and am really really intrested in this, Eagerly awaiting your review of the bots software, how to program,capture its moves!
Might have to sell lots of stuff to get the funds and purcahse this real soon!!

So how well did it fight?

Because of the injuries I inflicted while building...his hands would have both broken..if he had punched with them..also he was not really in the same weight class as the other robots so i did not enter him into the fighting event. (In fact latter in the day his right hand did break)
I supect due to his low centre of gravity, his walking seems faster or at least more reliable than RoboNova so I entered him in the sprint...However BillB's Bioloid moves very fast sideways so RB came second.
(NB Bren mentioned that officially his feet are too long in proportion to his legs...so he did not really qualify as a robo-one bot)

Action Builder 1.01(AB):for some reason I can't get my version to communicate with the robot..? ( Edited 16-7-08 the comms problem turned out to be a problem with my old laptop. There is no problem with Action Builder comms!)
Motion Builder 1.0 (MB):
The comms works fine., but I don't have the hang of using MB after one day.. .. Its so different to RoboNova. ie RB uses the animation analogy controlling frames and transitions times from start to end position.
It calls Scenes what I would call poses, and instead of inserting those poses into the high level language directly you must sequence/build the scenes into a motion/action. These motions must be contained in a project, ...but you can download them individually to be executed by the remote or export them in header file format:?
I like the config feature (missing with RN) but essential with a kit like this. Config enables adding and removing servos .

Until I have gotten used to this method of programming I reserve judgment whether its for me.
