we have new information regarding the availability dates of these kits:<br /><br />- Kit 1 is already available but we don't have it currently in stock. It takes about 2-3 weeks for delivery.<br /><br />- Kit 2 is expected by the end of August<br /><br />- Kit 3 is expected in the beginning of September<br /><br />One of the most FAQ is if it will be possible to upgrade for kit 1 to kits 2 and 3. According to information that is currently available this will not be possible. If you purchase kit 1 and later want the arm and chest protection you will need to purchase the whole kit (including all the parts: legs+arms+chest). The same goes for upgrading from kit 2 to 3.<br /><br />Pedro.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1061">PedroR</a> — Fri Aug 08, 2008 1:07 pm</p><hr />

Hi<br /><br />We just got new pictures of the Metal Bracket set and also the Hip Pivot kit.<br /><br />Apparentlly there will be 3 versions of the Metal Braket Set:<br />1- Metal Brackets for leg joints only<br />2- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest protection<br />3- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest Protection + Hip Protection (with Hip pivot kit) + Metal claws.<br /><br />Here are the pictures:<br /><br />1- Metal Brackets for leg joints only<br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_1_1/huno_1_view_3.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_1_1/huno_1_front.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_1_1/huno_1_left.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><br />2- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest protection<br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_2_1/huno_2_view_3.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_2_1/huno_2_front.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_2_1/huno_2_left.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><br />3- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest Protection + Hip Protection (with Hip pivot kit) + Metal claws.<br /><br />Notice the Hip Pivot kit assembled here. Also note that these pictures display a Robot with a lot more servo's than the standard kit.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_3_1/huno-3-view-1.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_3_1/huno-3-front.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/MetalBrackets_v2/huno_3_1/huno-3-left.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />and before anyone asks, these kits are intended to make the robot ready to participate in Robo-one like competitions.<br />the plastic joint-insert assembly system works very well on day-to-day use. the metal brackets set is only needed if you want to re-inforce the robot for tough competitions (or if you like the aggressive looks <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> )<br /><br />[]<br />Pedro.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1061">PedroR</a> — Tue Jul 15, 2008 11:33 am</p><hr />
