I think you are referring to the POV / Hat (the two small joystocks at the center, right?)

I have not implemented those in the software.
However full source code for the software is provided (it is for VB6) so if you have some programming skills you may be able to add that yourself.

At the time I chose not to add support for that because I didn't really have an idea on how to take advantage of them for the case of a robot so I just skipped it.

wé pedroR do not worry, I saw that there was a problem at this level .. lol I bought one yesterday ..

I shall have a small question. on the Xbox360 controller, there is a small joystik that does not recognize the software control ps2 .. this will be really handy if it could be recognized ..

an idea .??

very nice video!
I see that you're using the Serial cable to connect to the computer.

For full wireless control, you may want to get the Robobuilder Bluetooth Module here http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/517

This module replaces the physical serial cable on your robobuilder and allows wireless Bluetooth communication.

(however since your're already using a BT gamepad I'm not sure if and how both BT applications will work simultaneously though...) this is actually a good question..

Hi Joe

Both the bluesmirf and the native Rb bluetooth work by connecting 4 pins to the board: Rx, Tx, +Ve, GND.
To assemble the bluesmirf just use some wires to connect the necessary pins to the correct places on the board.

Zigbee modules should also work since they are also basically Rx, Tx, +Ve and GND, but this has not been tested yet.

Do you have any details on that? I have a BlueSmirf I would like to stuff into the RoboBuilder's chest cavity, but I haven't yet worked out how to connect it to the processor. I have a vague notion that I ought to be able to some how tap into the same inputs as the regular serial jack, but I haven't tried this yet. Has anybody already done this and posted details?

This demo was put together using the software posted here: http://robosavvy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18820#18820

Basically the software collects the state of the buttons from the gamepad (it should work with any gamepad/joystick btw) and send the commands to the Robobuilder through the COM port.

You'll notice the communications cable is attached to the robot. The commands are being relayed to the robot through the cable but you can also do it via bluetooth or zigbee.
There are a couple of posts on the forum talking about which modules are tested with Robobuilder, along with assembly instructions.
