The connectors are available, though a real pain to cimp because of the small size. Extending the cable may be more simple.

If you want the connectors, I can look out the part numbers, else if you are in UK/EU, I can send you some.
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Thu Feb 19, 2009 7:06 pm

Hi,

I have just built DOGY but I noticed that the infrared sensor cable is too short to allow the dog's head to turn fully left. I suppose that the white plug that the cable ends at, is rare to find in common electronic's shops so the only solution would be to cut the cable and make it bigger by soldering small extra wires in between the cutting. What do you think? Being a perfectionist,it breaks my heart to use such a radical solution but is there any other way?
Statistics: Posted by stamanol — Thu Feb 19, 2009 5:50 pm
