Thanks. I used the Diag tool and it showed the controller running 2.0F.

I have now successfully uploaded the latest firmware and re-checked the controller. Every thing is working fine, it's reporting a change but shows 2.17 not 2.23 as the download file says. I tried this with the earlier version posted on the forum, 2.22 and that shows 2.16 via the diag tool. I assume this is correct? why the difference?
Statistics: Posted by dreamray — Sun Aug 16, 2009 9:11 am

Yes. Use the "Robobuilder Diagnostic Tool" or the "Robobuilder Download Tool". They will show the firmware number of the RBC. It's on the CD that came with the Robobuilder. I think the "download tool" can be downloaded from Robobuilder.net.
Statistics: Posted by Ketchup — Sat Aug 15, 2009 11:16 pm

Hi

I've just moved up from a Robophilo to a second hand 5720K RoboBuilder and want to find out what version of the firm ware is loaded. Can anyone tell me if this can be done and how i can do it?
Statistics: Posted by dreamray — Sat Aug 15, 2009 11:04 pm
