I'm not a Apple expert - but I don't believe iOS support serial protocol (SPP) so the answer is no. See <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647">http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647</a><!-- m --><br /><br />If it  does in the future you still need to build your own code, using objective C and then pay Apple an annual licence fee even to develop app to run only on your device.
