Hi

When using more than 16 servos (ie something other than the standard HUNO 16 dof design), you will need to put your Robobuilder into "Custom Platform mode".

In this mode the upper part of the Remote will not work (including the basic posture).

After putting the Robot in Custom platform mode, you should then write your own custom motions (including one to put the Robot in a home position) and download them to the Robot just like you download any custom motion.

The operation of the robot will then be made using ONLY the numeric buttons on the Remote.

We recommend you assign the custom motion for basic posture to button 5 for example and then add all other motions to remaining buttons (we usually use 2 for forward, 8 for backwards and so on to make it easy to remember).

Please refer to the Robobuilder Manual, in particular "Custom Platform mode" to learn more details about this.

Regards
Pedro.
Statistics: Posted by PedroR — Thu Jan 19, 2012 7:22 pm
