Always a good idea to have a fuse. Its better to blow a fuse then have your wires catch on fire.

Since I am connecting the dynamixels to my roboard through usb2dynamixel and I am powering them through a separate lipo battery, is it wise to use a 5A fuse (like there was in cm-5) ? The fuse has to be connected to the 5v wire in series?
