Hi JavaRN

As I explained in my PM, I have spoken to the manufacturer and indeed this issue is very unusual and hard to diagnose.

If the red led turns on but the green won't it means the board has power but it is not booting.

They have suggested sending the board back for repairing and depending on the type of damage they will likely repair it for free and not charge anything.

I will let you know the details by email once we have proper RMA authorization.

Regards
Pedro.
Statistics: Posted by PedroR — Thu Nov 05, 2009 12:36 pm

I've been using roboard for sometime time now with no problems at all. All of a sudden it is not switching on. Only the red light switches on but the green light doesn't. Anyone has an idea what this might be?

More info on the case:

What happened was that I had a switch in series with the power (red wire), and somehow it got loose, and caused a short circuit (roboard was going on and of repeatedly until I managed to switch it off), when I changed the switch, there was no response from roboard.
Statistics: Posted by JavaRN — Tue Nov 03, 2009 2:26 pm
