Memory issue in RoBoard running Fedora 10

i can't explain the different usage levels in Linux. Probably something related to linux itself.

However the report of the total memory bellow 256mb is acceptable.

Part of the memory is sometimes taken by system routines/bios and also the 256mb are usually an estimate.
The actual value may vary with fabrication I believe.

But the Roboard guys should be able to answer this one for you.

Hi,

I have installed Fedora 10 on my RoBoard. I was trying to find the memory usage in Runlevel 5. When I typed "free -m" in terminal, it shows 225MB is used out of 246 MB. However, if I use System Monitor to check the memory usage, it shows 99.5MiB out of 246.2 MiB.

Also, the roboard has 256 MB whereas Fedora is only showing 246 MB. Any ideas about this memory issue?
