Had same problem with my Genius Look webcam. Try Yawcam software and drivers from other web cams of your webcam maker. I got my cam working this way

If I recall from other cam-related posts, the issue is with multimedia acceleration- the Roboard doesn't have MMX extensions, so that causes the B.S.O.D., if I remember right. Maybe the software for the cam will let you turn that off, or an older version might not utilize acceleration...

I have a lifecam vx-1000 and no matter what programe I try to use the roboard will BSOD on vx1000.sys driver every time.

Any driver details would be helpful. Vesion, date, files, etc.
