hi thanks for your answer.i think i found what i need.. i have a usb gps dongle and i install it..i made a small application in vb.net and i decode the nmea protocol and i receive longtitude and latitude etc.. so it will do the job.. now, the support from this site told me to buy a motor controller which is also a servo controller because i told them i need to connect a moter. i see some motor controllers for 1,5A,2A,15A moters.. im trying first to find the moter that i will use in order to choose motor controller.. but i dont know which data to see..for example these are the specs of a moter:

Specification:
Kv: 910rpm/V
Shaft Dia: ø5.00mm
Weight (about): 167g
Unload current: 2.3A
Max current: 41A
Lipo Battery: 3S-6S
Recommend Propeller: 12*6
Thrust: 2460g

the Amper that i have to check is unload currnt or max current in order to choose motor controller.. the max current is where the moter is in MAX SPEED? and if yes than i need a hude motor controller for 41A...
Statistics: Posted by christ — Wed May 16, 2012 10:18 am

If your servo controller and GPS use the USB interface, you can just plug them into the USB ports of eBox 3350MX. If your servo controller and GPS use the serial interface (RS232 or TTL), then you need an USB-to-Serial device for connecting them to eBox 3350MX.

Statistics: Posted by roboard — Wed May 16, 2012 9:39 am

Hi guys. First of all im a newb in robots.. im good in programming vb,vb.net,c++,c# etc. Anyway i want to make an autonomous vehicle.. so i dont want to have it connected with my laptop! so a windows/linux board(EBOX-3350MX-AP) would do the job right? i mean the servo controller and gps would be connected to my linux/windows board which will be in the vehicle.. i hope you know what i mean.. anyway! i found that to do the job DM-RobrdStart but this is much more expensive than EBOX-3350MX-AP and DF-DRI0005 , The DM-RobrdStart is a board which has also servo controller.. the second choise is EBOX-3350MX-AP(board) and DF-DRI0005(servo controller). okay, now can i connect this gps S-GPS-00465 to my window/linux board and read the gps data? Thanks!

PS i choose the second choise EBOX-3350MX-AP(board) and DF-DRI0005(servo controller) because it is cheaper thanks
Statistics: Posted by christ — Sun May 06, 2012 11:23 am
