It's a software service pack - i.e. Service Pack 2 and includes some robot soccer motions for the KHR-2HV along with information on motion creation, remote control, gyro, and accelerometer setup, and a recommendation that the tub sole be used. It's available for download via the Kondo support webpage, along with an update that corrects some errors.

Thanks for that. I don't usualy read much of the instructions anyway.
Think I have been swayed towards the KHR-1HV, mainly because of the hip rotation as I think it makes a big difference to the movments of the robot.

BTW, does anyone know the best place to buy a KHR-1HV here in the UK?

Oh, and I found out that SP2 is service pack 2 and it was from the Kondo website.

Thanks, that cleares things up a bit.
So I guess the latest incarnation (KHR-1HV) is the one to go for.

Just a couple more question.
1. What does SP2 mean as in KHR-2HVSP2.
2. How does the KHR-1HV compare to the Robonova which is another choise I am thinking about.

Hi all,

As I am newish to all this and wonder if someone could help me understand the difference betweent all the Kondo KHR bipeds.

e.g. KHR-1, KHR-2, HV, SP2.

I was thinking of buying a RN but I really wanted Hip rotation which I presume is the HV.

Any help, input or good links would be most helpful in my final desicion.
