Thanks for the info..
for a while we put aside our KHR-1..we just purchase a new bioloid..
but... we still keep trying to develop a board for our KHR-1.

Since it offers several features, this board could be a good option for developing programming capability, including sensors.

It has a lot of potential, but there aren't many users yet since it was just announced in Japan recently. It's version 0.9.

In terms of program development, expandability, and handling sensors, it has more potential than the RCB3 - assuming you are able to do your own development - and is more standardized and open than the Motion Processor. The downsides at this point appear to be the price ($$$), support outside of Japan and docs.

Hi Limor,

Thank you for your info Limor.
Since I have broken 1 one of my servos, so I will use 786 red version as the fact, as what I could infer from what you said, RCB1 can handle 786 and 784 simultaneously.

What do you think this board?

Hi Ryan,

The RCB-1 will work with the 786 servo but you wont get much more than you already have.

If you want more power then there are some new high-voltage servos that are compatible in shape to the 784/786 but that would require replacing the RCB-1 with RCB-3

If you want more programming options, then just change the controler board.

Hi all,
I am planning to change two servos(krs-784 blue version) in my robot'legs(KHR-1) with krs-786 red version. is it still possible for RCB-1 boards to control the blue and the red versions?
I am worried to ruin my RCB-1 boards.
