Well, this is a bug of H2H I found previously.

The reason is that when you delete the present blocks of flowchart by dragging a rectangle etc, you only delete some information of the present
motion file, other information still remained.
so, when you add new flowchart and save the file in other names and repeat the process you get large amount of hidden information

My method is similar,

Recommendation:
1) quit the software, re-open and make a new motion file. or
2) HIGHLIGHT one of the block and click the "select all" and the "delete"
this will erase all the hidden information.

Remedy:
open you present "fat file" drag and highlight your flowchart, right-click with copy then right-click with any one block with "select all" and then right-click with "delete" ----[delete hidden information]
press control-V to paste back the original information and save your file.

that is my finding
Statistics: Posted by Ray — Tue Jul 17, 2007 4:43 pm

This started to happen to me recently, and my files are now well over 1mb in size, which takes a few minutes to save for some reason. The best that I can tell is it's from repeatedly opening files, modifying and saving.... every import adds a bit of junk under the hood or something? My earlier files are many times smaller.

Anyway thanks for doing this Alpha2, I'll have to give it a try

-Crabfu
Statistics: Posted by crabfu — Mon Jul 16, 2007 11:23 pm

I am a owner of KHR-2HV and Manoi AT01.
When I was editing a motion file with Heart2Heart3, I found that it took several minutes to save a motion file to a hard disk. The saved file has the size of more than 100 KB. The content of this fat motion file has many lines of unused junk link data like bellow.

[LinkXXX]
Main=0
Origin=-1
Final=-1
Point=

I found in the discussion of a forum of Robot Life Online that this is caused by a bug of Heart2Heart3. I don't know in what occasion this bug is triggered

So, I made a web page to reduce the size of a fat motion file.

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~alpha2mac/RCB_Shrink_E/

Copy & paste the content of your fat motion file into the form of the web page and crick [Shrink] button. Then you can get a slimmed motion file.
Statistics: Posted by Alpha2 — Mon Jul 16, 2007 7:46 am
