Hi, the robot I have is a Manoi, which has the Kondo 4024 HV servos.

When doing energetic routines, the power draw regularly hits my 3A current limit and I get a warning from the PSU.

Normal walking, etc 1.5 - 2.5 amps.

That seems like a awful lot 3000ma. How did you find out that is the draw and are you positive? I just dont want to take the chance of ruining it.

As I mentioned, it needs to be around 3 Amps = 3000 ma

Anyone know if this would work as a power supply fro the KHR-1HV? Its not 10.8v its 9v but it is 800ma.

I invested in a variable voltage and current bench power supply some time ago.

I got a 0-20V 3A(important as mine draws 2.5A when performing) with variable current control (saved at least 2 servos from burning out)
