Hello and welcome to the forum. Hopefully you will have a lot of fun with your new toy.

I want to replace these with stronger servos (e.g. higher torque).

Your right the best servo would be the 2350 as it has twice the torque. To make it fit KONDO makes brackets for it. I haven't try my self but I have read about people doing it.

Bren
Statistics: Posted by Robo1 — Tue Dec 25, 2007 6:55 pm

Hi there,

since a couple of weeks I'm the proud owner of a KHR-1HV
A marvellous kit to build and to play with.
I have 'succesfully' assembled it and he can do a lot of moves.

I have some questions left after playing around with him and was hoping that some people can help me solve these issues.

When trying to get up from his back, one servo burned out (KRS-788HV).
It's a leg servo (#12) and I have noticed that #12 and #18 are getting hotter than the other ones, probably due to the fact that the body is 'carried' by these 2 servos.
I want to replace these with stronger servos (e.g. higher torque).
Is this possible, does anyone has experience with this and what servo is usefull for this job.
While searching the internet i came across the KHR-23550HV, only the dimensions are a bit off.

Secondly I have ICS USB ADAPTER and the KRC-1.
The KRC-1 works with the KHR-1HV.
After reading the ICS USB ADAPTER manual it says that one can connect the KRT-3 (the oscillator part of the KRC-1) to the ICS USB ADAPTER.
When doing this and trying to connect to the KHR-1HV nothing happens.
Does the ICS USB ADAPTER, in combination with the KRT-3, works only with the KHR-1 (RCB1 boards that is)??

And third (and last), can the sensor board RCS-1 from Kondo be connected to the RCB-3J?

Many thanks in advance and in the near future I hope I can contribute to the forum!!!
Statistics: Posted by ries — Tue Dec 25, 2007 10:33 am
