Look under product catagories on the left - Servos.
Scroll down and look for KRS-2350 (6v version) or KRS-2350-HV (9 to12v version)
Or even much more powerful KRS-4014S

Thanks for the info Meltdown, do you know where these more powerful servos for Kondos are sold at?

On another note, I found these at trossen:

This servo seems monstrous! Of course, you'd have to supply it with 18V to even see 888oz/in of torque.

Does the kondo use servos in this package?

These re-enforced alu frames for hight torque servos are availabe at the new Kondo site.

too bad the frames for the various joints aren't made of aluminum...

Hmm maybe an idea for third party manufacturers?

Anodized aluminum components for the condo anodized in different colors would be trick!

The leg servos are the culprit of every standard sold commercial robot.
Imho it needs to be capable of at least 20kg/cm to be fully functional.
Don't forget that the frames also have to be more robust when changing to more powerful servos otherwise they will deform quickly under the power.
The cost will be rising fast also

so far no heat issues for me

but I feel a few of the leg servos just don't have the strength

Thank you Robo1. That converts to roughly 139 oz-in. Does the Kondo robot have servo heating issue? How do Kondo owners deal with it? Do you guys replace the servos with something stronger and possibly with heatsink?
