Joefox

I am only a beginner myself !

I did not have to change the home position after installing the gyro.

When I put the gains up it also shakes !

Having a good home position and a very level surface seem to be very important.

Are you sure you gave the gyro set in the correct orientation ?

Can you see the voltage change on the analogue input page when you move it side to side?

I have a broken servo at the moment. When it is fixed I will see if I can help you further but I am no expert !

Are you in the UK ?
Statistics: Posted by Big — Thu Apr 24, 2008 8:39 pm

Thanks for the information!
I put two Gyro and set the gain value as you gave to me. The front back direction works prefect, but the motor 11, 17 and 21, 15 do not work as I expected. when I hit it, the whole robot still moves a while (two or three seconds) to settle down. It is like without Gyro, but when I hit it hardder, the robot starts shaking, which means the Gryo does work. I don't know where I did wrong. Would you help me with this problem?

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by joefox — Wed Apr 23, 2008 8:54 pm

Thanks for the information!
For the RCB-3J set up. Do you set the same gain and same channels as mentioned in the KHR-2HV manual?
Statistics: Posted by joefox — Sat Apr 19, 2008 12:08 am

Welcome !

I also have an 1HV with 2 x KRG3 and 1 RAS

One KRG is stuck with double sided sticky tape between the black plastic of the hip serveros so it is directly between the legs on the underside of the body. The connector points backwards so it is easy to wire to the control board

The other is on his back just below the control board cover. Again just using tape.

Just put them on like like to get them working - which they do.

Have fun !
Statistics: Posted by Big — Fri Apr 18, 2008 11:32 pm

I recently bought a Kondo KHR-1HV and two Gyro and an accelerometer. The only manual I can find is for KHR-2HV. And KHR-1HV does not have the place to install X-direction gyro as the manual described, so the robot still fall all the time when it walk. Can anyone tell me where I can find the manual for KHR-1HV or where I should put the Gyro?

Thanks!
Statistics: Posted by joefox — Fri Apr 18, 2008 10:18 pm
