I have some programming experience and less electronics. but i have never let this put me off in the past and aim to spend some time learning what is needed.
I can afford pretty much any of the robots here, and it seems to me the KHR is the most hands on to build.
I am really looking for a robot i can use as a learning project for myself.

The best robot to buy depends on what you want to do with it, how much you are willing to spend, and how good you are with electronics and programming

Hello all

I am looking at buying my first robot kit, and have nearly decided to get a KHR-2HV, before i do though, there are a few questions i would like to ask.

1. can the KHR-2HV be powerd from a mains socket? ie can the charger be left plugged in while it is running indefinitely?

2. I noticed some add on chips for stability that attach to the main control board, are there instructions for fitting these addons is this bot easy to mod?

3. This seems like the best of the kit robots, but if anyone wants to suggest another bot before i buy feel free (give reasons)
