KHR-1/RCB-1, The Accelerometer that I bought was from this site for the KHR-1. I did replace the servos with standard replacements. I only get cracks of time to work on my robot so it has been difficult figuring things out. Any help would be appreciated. the gyros look well documented but the other goodies (I dont have) are not mentioned, I could probably dig throught the KHr1 documentation for clues, and I do mean clues because BabbelFish and Google translators leave me scratchn my head a few times - sounds like Yoda doing the translating - "We make do, must my jedi friend!"
Statistics: Posted by zulu — Sat Jul 08, 2006 12:24 am

Hello zulu,

Yes, use the standard hookup cord to the RCB3J that is in the kit. Can't help you out with the gyro, mine is not in yet. Should be here next week, so I'll get to that fire then.

Regards,

Rick
Statistics: Posted by rrdiaz30 — Sat Jul 08, 2006 12:02 am

Also the original question of this topic I think refered to the RAS-1 Accelerometer and its use in the KHR-2 which still isn't absolutely clear. This modual has 6 pins I'm assuming three for each axis. Now if I have two KRG-3 gyros and there are only 3 A/D ports on the RCB-3J then how do I hook them all up? Do I use the RSC-1HV SENSOR CONTROL BOARD? And if I do where do I plug that in? Do I need to separately power it with 5V? So many questions and even translating the supplied PDF files or the  documents on Kondo's web site yeilds no answers and the people at Kondo refuse to reply to any American emails even when I translate them     ... maybe theres only one dude over there and he's just stressed putting all the packages together and answering the phones   :}
Statistics: Posted by zulu — Fri Jul 07, 2006 11:58 pm

Hi Jerry,

I'll PM you with my proceedure.

I just verified that you can set ICS servo settings through the RCB-3J with the supplied cord and Heart-to-Heart ver 3.0, so there is no need to purchase the ICS servo manager kit for the KHR-2HV and stock servos. I also found out how to put together a custom POS screen. Here is my test example:

http://robosavvy.com/Builders/rrdiaz30/ ... Hey there, rrdiaz30 - wondering if you would mind giving me some instructions on the translation process you used to create the examples you posted? I'd LOVE to translate the manuals as you have done in your examples. I've been working with Japanese Translators, and this would go a long way in helping us!

I'd need pretty explicit instructions, if you wouldn't mind!
Statistics: Posted by Jerry — Fri Jul 07, 2006 7:28 pm

The kondo catalog for the KHR-2 shows it as an accessory for their HV line and there are three analog/digital pins on the RCB3J board, but in the PDF manual for the RCB3J board the only reference I see is for installing and configuring the KRG-3 gyro.
