Hi Robo1,

Congratuation for you KHR2!

usually when the servo is under torque, there will be some gitting sound.
you should adjust your robot initialization position so as to minimize the torque when KHR2 is in standing up position.

when the servo is under heavy load (torque), for example, using the hand to lift a heavy weight more than a minute, the servo may burn due to overheat!!

To ready japanese in adobe reader, just download the serice pack from adobe.

To read the japanese in your Heart2Heart, you should, in your Window XP\Control panel\language and region setting\advanced setting, select and add the japanese language.

Or you can go to Microsoft web site to download the free "Applocale" software (A software to view different language by simply a shot-cut icon!)

buzzing sounds

Don't worry, a buzzing sound from the servos (some louder some not buzzing) is the usual sound a Robot does as soon as it is switched on.

Depending on the servo brand and version it might be louder or nearly silent. Kondo KRS servos are not loud compared to other ones.

Sound changes with load on the joints (poses) because of changed servo holding torque, usually the more holding torque the louder the sound,

and another question,

I finally got the whole thing assembaled but some of the servos make buzzing sounds if i play with the slides in h2h the noise goes away but then I play some more and then the noise starts again.

any ideas?

I printed the manul and used that link last night to screw it together (if anyone's thinking of buying one off these kits a electric screw drive is the only was about 500 screws ).

On to the software side e.g. plugging it all in, this is the bit that would be good to have some english for, ow well trial and error it is.

Hi Bren,

Welcome to the site. I'm a newbie myself but everyone's really helpful around here.

My KHR-2HV didn't come with a printed manual either, it's all on the CD.

Heres a link to some translation done by Jerry and as far as i know noone else has done the RCB-3J manual yet.

Hello every one,

my robots finally her, had to pay £140 inport duty, so the mods will have to wait. just a quicky to say, how fare have people got translating the manuly and has an englaish version of the software been released yet.

is ones for limo can we have a seperate side fold for the KHR-2 so that we can keep all the docs and other stuff seperate from the version 1.
