Hi,<br />you got a different product, called KRT-3.<br />Shown in the image of Roboporium is the KRT-1 remote kit.<br /><br />Both kits use the same frequencies (25MHz). These frequencies are not allowed in many countries other than Japan.<br /><br />KRT-3 uses USB<br />KRT-1 uses COM Port<br /><br />KRT-3 comes with included PC-ICS USB adapter.<br /><br />KRT-1 can be worn attached to your arm, does not need to be attached to the port of the laptop directly as KRT3, so that you have better range with KRT-1.<br /><br />The housing of KRT-1 has no effect other than holding the electronics and power/on off. KRT-1 is powered by battery (9V).
