for li-po it's best just to go to your local rc shop as your will have a lot of different makes and sizes. they should also have all the bits and pieces you need. a low voltage li=po saver I would recommend, this is a small simple circuit that turns on when the li-po is running flat.

there isn't much room left I think you could still put a gyro in (still waiting for my order ) . but you will have to move or get rid of the switch.

Thank for the reply. Where did you get your new battery, and what kind of charger are you using for the new battery? Does it leave room for gyros in the body? Does anyone else have suggestions on new batteries?

I replaced my standard battry with a 950mah li-po, it fits in side the metal case. I made a cheap voltage reg for it that cost £2. I got feed up with the standard battry as it only last about 15 min and took hours to charge so I never got anything done.

if you want my advise get a higher capacity battry it will make playing with you khr-2 more fun. my battry last about one hour and takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

I made this topic to dicuss batteries. I have some questions.

How long does your standard KHR-2HV battery last on a single charge?

How long should you charge your batteries? The charger says"Output DC 13.5v 30mA" and the battery is 300mA. Does this mean that the battery should charge for 10 hours?
