I just installed a pair of KRG-3's in to KHR-2HV. My settings are:
AD1: ch14 x7, ch20 x-7
AD2: ch15 x8, ch21 x8
I haven't tried anything else yet, but that does a lot already.
Statistics: Posted by heke — Fri Oct 27, 2006 6:55 pm

Well, there is a setting in H2H3J to set the servo parameters, I will try it 3 or 4 week later. ....
Statistics: Posted by Ray — Tue Oct 24, 2006 11:45 am

you could be right, after some more playing the arms now vibrate and their not even used in the gyro resonce

I have for the left/right the hips moving with a value of +8. last week that worked fine but now when you push him he straghtens up but his hands vibrate like mad with a 1cm swing.

Is there any way of getting this to stop.

Another thing that i've seen. the servos are getting a lot of play in them, is this normal, can I correct it. is it just kondo servos or do all servos have the same problem. Would say DX-117 get the same problem as I'm thinking of buying some for my home biuld.

cheers bren
Statistics: Posted by Robo1 — Tue Oct 24, 2006 10:39 am

hi,

I have similar case as you, (but a bit better and acceptable).

no time now for my troubleshooting, but I suspect it is not the gyro problem, it is the resonance of the servo.

I found when the toe try to stabilize, there is a little vibration, and it is growing!
I think the ICS setting may be changed.
say, to damp the response a bit.

If you find this helpful, please inform me

Ray.
Statistics: Posted by Ray — Tue Oct 24, 2006 10:30 am

I've been playing with the seetting for a week and still can't set it up to may liking. It's the same old store, if I set the gain to high it stabilises really well but you get the shaking and if you turn the gain down it dosn't do the job well.

I've tryed having two to three servos a side, each with low gain but this still dosn't make a diffence.

do I have to use a DSP to contol the analoge input or is there a better way. Any input would be good, as there must be some one that has found a really good set up.

cheers bren
Statistics: Posted by Robo1 — Tue Oct 24, 2006 10:19 am

Hi,

my two KRG-3 have arrived at last (thanks limor). Been playing with them all morning. there work fine but having trouble fine tuning them to work for the foward axis e.g. so when you push him he pushs back.

So what I was after was a screen shot of the analog screen of a working set up. Any other advise would be helpful from people that have got these working well.

cheers bren
Statistics: Posted by Robo1 — Thu Oct 19, 2006 2:38 pm
