UP! Plus is now printing with a 0.15mm layer height

I print out robot brackets and for me I need a printer to do two things.

1. It needs to print in ABS.

2. It has to be able to do support material

Right now the R2 can not do both. So the best printer for me is the UP! plus. The R1 is my second printer of choose but support of this printer may be a problem in the future?

The R2X looks very promising but the price is starting to get to high for me.

Also the UP!'s software is better than Makerware is right now.

The replicator2 seems to have a much better spec and build at the same price?

I have access to a UP!, Replicator 1, Thingomatic and Ultimaker through my local hackerspaces. So my cost is only in plastic ABS. So we are only talking about 1 USD per bracket for me. I know I am lucky in that regard!

If you have the money the UP! printer is the one to buy right now. It is less than 2000 USD and it prints out ABS parts really well.

Hi Gort,
Sorry but i want to ask, how the 3D print cost calculated ?
Per hour ?
Is that calculated on the basis of height of nozzle ?
I want to print some gears. Gear require less height. The guy told me he will charge per hour reprap is ON.

Plus I am printing in ABS not PLA!

I will posts some pictures later but I am getting some really nice looking robot brackets and DARwIn-OP covers!
