I wanted to bring to your attention a new way to preview the components you are about to print, in real size, before actually doing the printing. It's a mobile app available on iPhone, iPad and Android. <br /><br /><div class='bbmedia' data-url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcUkzEs151Y?hl=en_US&amp;amp;version=3' style='margin: 1px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: bottom;'><div style='width: 200px; height: 40px; border: 1px solid #999; display: table-cell; text-align: center; vertical-align: middle; font: 10px/10px Verdana; color: #555; opacity: 0.5;'><a style='color: #105289; text-decoration: none;' href='http://phpbbex.com/' target='_blank'>phpBB</a> &#91;media&#93;</div><script>if (typeof bbmedia == 'undefined') { bbmedia = true; var e = document.createElement('script'); e.async = true; e.src = 'js/bbmedia.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(e, s); }</script></div><br /><br /><br />You can give it a try by downloading the app on iTunes or iOs, just look for &quot;Augment&quot; in the appstore.<br /><br />You can open directly any models from Thingiverse for exemple, like shown on this video, just download the model on your device and say &quot;open with Augment'<br /><br />Let me know if you have any question, I want to know if this type of augmented reality experience really enhance the creation of 3d printable objects !<br /><br /><br /><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://augmentedev.com/home.php#download">http://augmentedev.com/home.php#download</a><!-- m --><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=4172">Augment</a> — Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:59 pm</p><hr />
