Thanks for the suggestions guys. I’m also looking for 3D designing guide for my 3D creations. I’m no expert when it comes to designing so I better learn this field for good. Hope I learn a lot to improve my expertise in jewellery designing and most especially incorporating it with different 3D printing materials like this: http://www.3d2print.net/shop/product/ta ... ase-clear/.

Try AutoDesk 123D but you can not beat Solidworks and Inventor!

How good is the software that includes Up Plus 2?

Very good and easy to use.

Before getting a 3D printer I want to learn at least the basics of 3D design. Currently I have no idea.

I want it to design little robot parts, initially derived from Bioloid parts and progressively start designing slightly bigger parts.

Which book/s would you recomend?
Which 3D design program?
How good is the software that includes Up Plus 2?

(I have been playing for a while with several 3D design software, Free cad, Solid Works, Blender, and Free cad seems the easier)
