Hi,<br />Is it possible to program Darwin Mini to be totally autonomous?<br />So it has it's own personality etc ? (Similar to a sony aibo or qrio)<br />Does the voice recognition only work through the smartphone app, or is it possible to add voice recognition to the robot itself?<br /><br />EDIT. <br /><br />Is it possible to include AIML into the programming, and allow the robot move with responses etc ?<br />Would the programming allow the robot to remember responses etc ?<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=7821">Tumster</a> — Sat Jun 21, 2014 10:16 pm</p><hr />

I would imagine the mini's motion is similiar to the Bioloid. Though I will have to see the code to be sure.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1861">UncleBob</a> — Wed Jan 29, 2014 4:51 am</p><hr />

So excited ! Just received a Mini Darwin for review. I will report the basic functions, how to program it, etc.<br /><br />Do drop a word here if there is anything about it you like to know.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">Robotis Mini Darwin Review Part 1</span><br /><div class='bbmedia' data-url='http://youtu.be/_g29cqnowwQ' style='margin: 1px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: bottom;'><div style='width: 200px; height: 40px; border: 1px solid #999; display: table-cell; text-align: center; vertical-align: middle; font: 10px/10px Verdana; color: #555; opacity: 0.5;'><a style='color: #105289; text-decoration: none;' href='http://phpbbex.com/' target='_blank'>phpBB</a> &#91;media&#93;</div><script>if (typeof bbmedia == 'undefined') { bbmedia = true; var e = document.createElement('script'); e.async = true; e.src = 'js/bbmedia.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(e, s); }</script></div><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">Robotis Mini Darwin Review Part 2</span><br /><div class='bbmedia' data-url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2rR89b3hQw&amp;feature=youtu.be' style='margin: 1px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: bottom;'><div style='width: 200px; height: 40px; border: 1px solid #999; display: table-cell; text-align: center; vertical-align: middle; font: 10px/10px Verdana; color: #555; opacity: 0.5;'><a style='color: #105289; text-decoration: none;' href='http://phpbbex.com/' target='_blank'>phpBB</a> &#91;media&#93;</div><script>if (typeof bbmedia == 'undefined') { bbmedia = true; var e = document.createElement('script'); e.async = true; e.src = 'js/bbmedia.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(e, s); }</script></div><br /><br />This video shows how to control a Mini Darwin using an Android device via bluetooth. The app is only in Korean at the moment. You can tell the robot to walk and do other stuffs by pressing buttons on the app. It also uses the gyro sensor and voice recognition on the Android tablet to tell the robot what to do.<br /><br />This is not the review video but is a good laugh.<br /><div class='bbmedia' data-url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X911bAw4Mc&amp;feature=youtu.be' style='margin: 1px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: bottom;'><div style='width: 200px; height: 40px; border: 1px solid #999; display: table-cell; text-align: center; vertical-align: middle; font: 10px/10px Verdana; color: #555; opacity: 0.5;'><a style='color: #105289; text-decoration: none;' href='http://phpbbex.com/' target='_blank'>phpBB</a> &#91;media&#93;</div><script>if (typeof bbmedia == 'undefined') { bbmedia = true; var e = document.createElement('script'); e.async = true; e.src = 'js/bbmedia.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(e, s); }</script></div><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1861">UncleBob</a> — Fri Jan 24, 2014 5:25 am</p><hr />
